The dataset includes remote sensing data of the historical center of Riga, its protective zone and 13 built-up protection territories: LIDAR point cloud, reality model, orthophoto map. The data was obtained in August and September 2022, by performing aerial laser scanning, aerial photography, as well as laser scanning from the ground.
Classified LIDAR point cloud
- Available for download in *.las data format;
- In an open, uncovered area, the combined density of points on the ground is 200-300 p/m²;
- Both manual and automatic classification of aerial laser scanning and laser scanning data was performed;
- The dataset is linked to the coordinate system LKS-92 TM and the Latvian normal elevation system LAS – 2000.5.
Reality model
- Lejupielādei pieejams COLLADA (*.dae) datu formātā;
- High resolution (2 cm/pix), geospatially linked, photorealistic 3D grid model;
- The Old Town reality model was created using both aerial photography, aerial laser scanning, and ground laser scanning data; for other territories, aerial photography data was supplemented with aerial laser scanning data in places to improve the surface quality of the reality model;
- The data set is linked to the LKS-92 TM coordinate system and the Latvian normal elevation system LAS – 2000.5.
Orthophoto map
- Available for download in *.tif data format;
- High resolution (2 cm/pix) orthophoto map;
- Provides a rectangular representation;
- Orthophoto map made from aerial photography data;
- The data set is linked to the LKS-92 TM coordinate system.
Data is available for download on TKS-93 M 1:500 map sheets.
