The Spatial Plan of the Riga Historical Center (RHC) is a territorial development planning document, which was developed based on the Law on the Preservation and Protection of the Riga Historical Center, in accordance with the procedures set forth in this law and other regulatory acts, and determines the requirements for the use of the territory of the Riga Historical Center and its protection zone (PZ) and for construction. The historical center of Riga is part of a cultural monument of national significance. The historical center of Riga is included in the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
