Survey on the Reusable Cup Deposit System at Riga’s Birthday Celebration Venues
28.08.2025. - 12.09.2025.
The Riga City Municipality, in cooperation with Latvian and international partners, is implementing the project “Change(K)now!”. The aim of the project is to reduce the amount of single-use food packaging in food supply and catering systems, as well as to raise awareness among businesses and residents, encouraging a shift towards the reuse of food packaging.
Eight cities from the Baltic Sea region – including Liepāja, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Riga, Tallinn and others – are participating in the project to explore the best solutions for transitioning to reusable tableware at public events. The project is implemented within the framework of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme, Climate-Neutral Societies / Circular Economy. More information about the project is available here.
Riga City Municipality invites visitors of Riga’s 824th Birthday celebrations to share their opinion on the reusable cup deposit system at the celebration venues – 11. novembra krastmala, Victory Park, and Vērmanes Garden.
Completing the survey will take approximately 2 minutes. The survey is anonymous, and responses will be processed only in aggregated form.
