Survey of residents for the identification of perspective centres of neighbourhoods

The survey is intended for people residing, working or visiting the neighbourhoods of Beberbeķi, Brekši, Bukulti, Dārzciems, Dreiliņi, Kleisti, Kundziņsala, Mūkupurvs, Rumbula, Salas, Spilve, Suži, Šķirotava, Trīsciems and Voleri. The aim of the survey is to find out opinion on places that are characteristic for the neighbourhoods and actively used. The information gathered will be used to identify the most suitable locations for centres in these neighbourhoods.

Neighbourhood centres are places in the neighbourhoods of Riga that fulfil local service, social and recreational functions. They represent the identity of the neighbourhood, strengthen people’s sense of belonging to their place of residence, and provide opportunities for gathering, recreation and receipt of services. Currently, there are 33 neighbourhood centres for 35 neighbourhoods determined in Riga.
