2025. On March 26, 2025, the Riga City Council adopted decision to approve the 1st version of the Riga Smart City Guidelines 2025-2030 and to submit it for public consultation.

The Riga Smart City Guidelines 2025–2030 is a policy planning document that defines the municipality’s strategic direction for smart city development.
