Express your opinion about the square opposite St. Gertrude New Church at the intersection of Cēsu Street and Brīvības Street

The City Development Department of the Riga State City Municipality is implementing the project “Jaunā Eiropas Bauhaus un dabā balstītu risinājumu izmantošana sabiedrības ilgtspējas, iekļaušanas un noturības veicināšanai (Sleeping Beauty)”. The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union programme “Horizon Europe”.

The aim of the project is to revitalize public outdoor spaces in pilot cities by demonstrating the implementation of nature-based solutions and New European Bauhaus principles, thereby strengthening sustainable urban environments, social participation, and biodiversity. The selected pilot area for the project is the square opposite St. Gertrude New Church at the intersection of Cēsu Street and Brīvības Street (hereinafter – the square).

With the help of this survey, we aim to gather public opinion and satisfaction regarding the current situation in the square between Cēsu and Brīvības streets.

Please note:

• The survey will be open until 27 April 2026.
• Completing the survey will take up to 10 minutes.
• This survey is conducted to identify necessary improvements for the square opposite St. Gertrude New Church, and it will be repeated after improvements are implemented.
• At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to leave your contact information (email) if you wish to receive updates about the project.
