Application for the initiative Dabai draudzīgs rīdzinieks

Thank you for your interest in preserving Riga’s biodiversity. Every contribution is important on the path toward a greener, more sustainable, and nature-friendly urban environment.

The City Development Department of Riga City Council is launching the volunteer initiative Dabai draudzīgs rīdzinieks, inviting residents to actively participate in the preservation and exploration of the city’s biological diversity.

Within the initiative, it is possible to take part in various activities of the international project urbanLIFEcircles, ranging from clean-up activities in natural areas in Jaunciems and Lucavsala (Kazas sēklis) to supporting the organization of public events.

We invite you to complete the application form and choose the types of involvement that suit you best.
